Wheat Flour, Raising Agents (sodium pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate).

About Baking Powder

The manufacturers of Baking Powder have stated that the packaging is free from plastic. 

Classic raising agent for adding to plain flours when making cakes, scones and puddings.

It is a mixture of Bicarbonate of soda, cream of tartar and cornflour. 

Don't confuse it with bicarb and try to use it for cleaning - it doesn't work!

Baling powder usually sits in my cupboard and goes quietly out of date between my baking sprees (yes, I really do bake that seldom) so I love the fact that I can buy it at Real Foods in very small amounts. Maybe not quite small enough for just one use, but pretty small.

So useful and so not expensive! Apart from baking it's great for making pulses less gaseous if you add it to the water when cooking them. It's also fantastic for cleaning the fridge or the microwave - removes smell and cleans beautifully.
