About Tapioca

Tapioca comes from the cassava plant and has been used for centuries in creamy puddings and sweet desserts.

Tapioca contains no impurities so the delicate taste will not mask light flavours such as vanilla, peach or lemon. As a pudding Tapioca is divinely soothing when served warm and delightfully refreshing when chilled.

These Tapioca are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.

If you have memories of tapioca pudding at school and it makes you shudder you should try the tapioca and coconut pudding recipe on the site - it will revolutionise your view of tapioca. I've gone from an avoider to a lover!
