About Organic Pumpkin Seeds

Organic Pumpkin Seeds come from the inside of organic field pumpkins. Dark green, flat seeds, they have a sweet, slightly nutty flavour and an almost chewy texture.

What are the benefits of pumpkin seeds?

Pumpkin seeds are a particularly good source of manganese, magnesium, phosphorus and copper, in addition, they are a good source of iron, zinc, essential fatty acids, and potassium. They provide antioxidant phytonutrients and phytosterols.

How to preserve pumpkin seeds?

Store in an airtight container, ideally in the fridge to preserve the flavours.

How to use pumpkin seeds?

Often used as a raw snack, or roast lightly for up to 20 minutes with your favourite herbs and spices to bring out the aromas and flavours of roasted pumpkin seeds. Try adding to dressings, as a sprinkle or garnish on vegetables or cereals or include in a homemade burger or cookie mix.

These Organic Pumpkin Seeds are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.
