Mixed spice, also called pudding spice, is a British blend of sweet spices.
Used in Christmas cake to add sweetness and flavour to suet and dried fruits.
Also similar to pumpkin pie spice, an American blend of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger and allspice. It is often used to complement fruits or other sweet foods. It can also be used to season oriental stir-fries.
These Mixed Spice Ground are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.
