Supernature White Truffle Rapeseed Oil dairy free, Vegan 100ml

This versatile oil can be used in many dishes from pasta and mash to a delicious salad dressing.  Its smooth texture and aromatic flavour liven up any dish.  Even the humble scrambled egg receives a touch of class with the merest drizzle!  I have to admit as a fan of pure truffle oils I was dubious about the virtues of an infused oil.  I though that something of the truffle would be lost in translation and I would only be able to taste the base oil in the infusion.  How wrong was I?! I first tried a drizzle in my mashed potato and a beautifully mellow, slightly floral, white truffle aroma and a vague mustard type flavour from the rapeseed oil combined perfectly for a rounded full bodied taste.  The texture was superb, not overly greasy.  Also, using rapeseed oil as the carrier provides the added health benefits of Omega 3 and 6 and anti-oxidants.  The rapeseed oil itself is locally sourced in Scotland and cold pressed to keep stability and flavour. Above all this White truffle infused oil, unlike so many others on the market, actually has white truffle in it!   Ideal for risottos, pizza and perfect with mushrooms, one bottle of this oil will last for ages because you only need a tiny drop.  Highly recommended.
