This pure walnut spread is a thick, flavoursome paste that can be eaten as a snack. Allow the spread to come to room temperature before trying to spread on bread or toast.
This walnut butter has been prepared from unroasted walnuts and has a strong walnut flavour. As is usual with walnuts there is a slight bitter-nuttiness to the taste. You can temper this bitterness by sweetening or by adding a small amount of salt.
