About Organic Batavia Lettuce UK

This Batavia Lettuce comes using absolutely zero plastic packaging.

What exactly is Batavia Lettuce?

Batavia lettuce is also known as "French Crisp" as it is a summer type that is easy to grow, relatively tolerant of hot weather, and harvestable from baby leaf to full size. It's super crisp like romaine, but sweet and juicy, without bitterness.

Is lettuce really healthy?

Lettuce has a high water content which makes it a refreshing choice during hot weather while providing calcium, potassium, vitamin C, and folate. The various nutrients in lettuce can help you to meet the standard daily requirements of several different vitamins and minerals.

This lettuce makes such a pretty addition to any salad. I often entertain and like being able to use these tasty and pretty leaves in a bowl of salad on the table. Guests often comment on how it looks.
