These organic apricots have retained a wonderful tangy flavour, perfect for snacking on, adding to trail mixes or using in baking and Middle Eastern dishes.
Are dried apricots good for you?
Apricots are a good source of dietary fibre and are high in potassium which is important for maintaining a healthy blood pressure. All dried fruits are relatively high in naturally occurring sugars and should be eaten by the handful, not the bowlful!
Dried apricots are also a great aid for digestion and constipation. The alkali found in dried apricots neutralises stomach acids, while the cellulose and pectin found in dried apricots help to maintain hydration with its insoluble fibres.
Sulphites free
This product contains no sulphites for preservation, therefore are ideal for people who suffer from a sulphite allergy.
These Apricots Unsulphured Turkey are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.
